A rich and natural balm made intentionally with butters, oils, and soothing extracts for their skin-loving properties.  This beauty glides onto skin like silk, helping skin to feel soft and nourished.  I lightly whip this for a nice balance between solid and airy.  Because it contains no water-based ingredients, it feels much more substantial on the skin than lotions and creams.  This also means you only need a tiny amount of this balm to be effective.
 
This balm contains no added fragrance, but the lovely natural, light scent from the cocoa butter and virgin coconut oil comes through.
 
It's wonderful on hands, cuticles, elbows and knees.  I also use it after soaking my feet, and it's included in my Foot Ritual Kit (just be careful, your feet will be slippery!).
 
Ingredients:  Shea butter, Nilotica shea butter, mango butter, apricot kernel oil, cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, virgin coconut oil, jojoba oil, meadowfoam seed oil, sunflower seed oil, aloe leaf extract, soybean oil, calendula extract, caprylic/capric triglycerides, arrowroot powder.
 
I make this product by hand in small batches.  I strive for a silky-smooth product but despite my best efforts, some batches may still develop graininess or contain pieces of unmelted butters.  This is sometimes unavoidable and the grains and small pieces of butters should melt on contact with skin.  I learned to leave perfection behind, and embrace that this is a sign of a fully handmade product!  I could have made a formula with butters that likely won't become grainy, but I intentionally chose these butters for their lovely skin feel and nourishment.
 
If you live in a warm area, or if purchased during warmer months, the balm may melt or soften.  You can place the jar upright to cool at room temperature.  If it melts or softens the texture may change but it will still be a great balm.  I will do my best to package and protect it during shipping in warmer months.
